Clarion Pointe Syracuse Downtown

Millie, the host was spiritually uplifting with her stoic viewpoints regarding life in general and was helpful in identifying restaurants and malls in the vicinity. The room was spotless, clean, affordable and in the core urban hub of the downtown district of Syracuse. It was quiet , offering a peaceful and safe environment to enjoy the surrounding neighborhoods. I highly recommend Clarion as one of the best hotels in the area. Namaste!

Staying here in the winter just be advised this is “open” hallways almost like a hotel would be at the beach. But we love it! They’ve done a great job putting some plastic up to keep the snow out but I just know during the warm months this would be so great. Also!! We got a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. No complaints at all, clean and quiet hotel with great service.

Very basic hotel, but clean, charming, and perfect location. Dave at the front desk was an absolute gem. I had read reviews for this hotel prior to booking and people have had a lot of good things to say about him. I shared that with him when I checked in, and he was so flattered he gave me a complimentary bottle of wine! The rooms are cozy and quiet. Beds on the firmer side, but comfortable. The tub was squeaky clean and stocked with shampoo and conditioner. I'd say for the price, location, free breakfast, and lovely staff, it's definitely one of the better options in the Syracuse area!

Looked up hotels in the area by Crouse Med and this one popped up. Price decent compared to others. Photos looked good and the reviews also. You know how that goes. Honestly. My room was very modern and sleek looking. Very clean as one would hope to expect. Discount for my wife being at the Med. Center. Continental breakfast 6am to 9am. Very satisfied and pleased.

Great price, better than the majority of downtown Syracuse hotels. Area might be considered rough, but room was spotlessly clean, and quiet. I was on the ground floor, last room. Bed, carpet, bathroom, all perfect. Shower control was polished like a mirror! Very friendly staff, both the gentlemen at night, and lady in the morning. Liked their eggs and hash browns. I needed a cell phone charger and the gas station across the street did not have one for sale with “the cube,” and she let me have one. That was great as it was the only business open nearby and I had no wheels. Very much appreciated!!

Very friendly staff morning and night. Rooms were very clean, a little on the small side which was completely balanced out by the size of the deep tub in the bathroom! The breakfast was great with lots of choices and good strong coffee. The price was excellent especially considering the high quality experience we had staying here. Don’t think twice about this being an older hotel. They are working their hearts out to make your stay feel warm and welcoming! We would definitely stay again.

Overall, a very nice experience. The front desk was very friendly upon arrival. To be honest the hotel from the outside looks a little rough but the room was very nice. The location is fantastic! We didn’t have the breakfast so no comment on that. We will 100% stay here again next time we’re in town!

An inexpensive hotel, not fancy but certainly a bargain. Plenty of hot water for the deep tub, relatively quiet. I slept well and would stay here again. Basic free breakfast included - waffle machine, scrambled eggs, hash browns, non-pork bacon, cereal (hot and cold), juice, milk, yogurt, etc. TV has Google Chromecast built in, but WiFi is probably too slow for streaming.
